The flower is an industry that is free from quota-limited among the agricultural products in the international community, and is named a new and developing industry like rising sun. In the recently 10 years, the output values of flower industry increases rapidly as 10% per year, and it is considered one of the most active industry in the world. The flower industry has turned into a new growth point of agriculture in Shaanxi Province. At present, the existence problems and development advantage of flower industry are not only closed relative with the sustainable and healthily developing of flower industry but also relative with the economy developing of Shaanxi. Through completely statistics and investigated typical area, the plant areas of flowers, sale quantity and values, condition of yield and management, and the flower dependency cultivation circumstance were investigated and analyzed in 2001-2004. The flower species resources, productive circumstances and everyplace and existence problems etc. of the recent years in flower industry for some area in Shaanxi Province were consulted through checking materials and interviewing with farmers and manager. These viewpoints are presented as breakpoint, which include the famous flower in local area becoming a popular style, the famous flower from other province becoming local products, the yield flower becoming commodity, and the productive and management making broad scale, through whole analyzed produce and sale structure, regional planted structure and existent problems. These viewpoints could be improved sustainable and healthy developing of flower industry in Shaanxi province.
