It has later maturation period, big fruits and rich nutrition. In recent years, its plant products industry was energetically developed in Dongying City. It brought conspicuous economic profits to farmers and showed good ecological benefits and social benefits. The Dongzao industry had been one of leading industries of Dongying city.The complete surveys had been carried in order to be in charge of the actual state of Dongzao industry's development in Dongying city, and to summarize the experiences and lessons in time. All Dongzao resources in Dongying city were investigated in this report, included close planting gardens, " four sides" Dongzao, storing and machining, market system, technique and service system, leading companies and organizations, and so on. The investigation involved 34 villages and towns of 5 boroughs in Dongying city, 6 production bases of the Jinan army and some companies of Shengli oil field, totally including 453 sites and 60000 date peasants. The objects were investigated included 9179.4hm~2 close planting gardens. 103484 date trees, 53 storerooms, 4 machining companies. Using the method of village by village door by door and asking the contractors and insiders, contractors conditions, time of building gardens and major technique were written down truly. Through the investigation, summary, index and analysis, we had comprehensive evaluate about Dongzao industry development, found the problems and development tendency, "'6231" Dongzao ecological forest construct project was come out, which was the ecological environment construct of forest and fruit tree combined with ecology. The development of D ongzao was efficiently brought into the whole forest ecological development in Dongying city. And new though of Dongzao forest ecological construct project that was the combination of forest and fruit tree was brought forward innovativly, which offered a new way to the more development of Dongzao industry, and had some guiding opinions about the development plan and direction.
