H.264 Encoding Software Analysis And Research On Video Watermarking Algorithm

H.264 video encoding standard is a new generation of highly efficient coding method.of which the research has very important technical significance and market value. This paper introduces the concept of video watermarking technology, meaning, applications, and a typical strategy of video watermarking both of embedding and extraction. Making a specific explanation of basic concept of H.264 video coding and decoding process.JM software is a H.264 standard test code, mainly focuses on theoretical research and increasing the coding function with several new characteristics, as a result of long program structure and coding high complexity. This paper deeply illustrate the coding unit and analysis the relations of the function behave among these coding units, further more watermark embedding algorithm has been successfully integrated in H.264 coder of JM software.According to the standard H.264 video encoding features, The watermarking embedding algorithm we propose in this paper is suitable for copyright protection. The solution is to embed the watermarking to the DCT coefficients(Y component) of luminance frame I. Simulation results show that the algorithm has a desirable invisibility.
