Design And Implementation Of Distance And Open Experiment Platform In Liaoyang Professional Technology Institute Based On JSP+VBScript

Experimental technique is the main method to validate scientific theories and explore the unknown knowledge. Compared with the theory teaching, experimental teaching is more intuitive, practical, and innovative. And experimental teaching is playing an important and irreplaceable role in enhancing the quality and Innovation of students. There are various problems in traditional experimental teaching, such as experiments with fewer resources, lack of laboratory equipment and teachers. According the above problem in LiaoYang Professional Technology Institute, we develop a distance and open experiment Platform for LiaoYang Professional Technology Institute. The system can take full advantage of limited network equipment, may increase the maximum student-on experiment time, allowing students at any time and place be able to remote access to laboratory equipment, and improve the quality of experimental teaching.The open and distance experiment platform includes user management module, document management module, remote experiment management module, remote experiment appointment module and remote experiment operation module. The platform includes students, teachers and administrator. So the user interface is divided to the above three types. Administrator user interface is mainly responsible for user management, document management and remote experiment management. The main functions of teachers user interface are classroom management, user management, document management, experiment appointment, making experiment. Student user interface is mainly responsible for experiment appointment, do experiments, query the experiment records and the mark.In this paper, to design and developed the Distance and Open Experiment Platform, we use MySQL as the database and Tomcat as the web server, the development of dynamic Web pages based on JSP and VBScript. The features of the system are as follows:We divide the function structure into three layers: user interface layer, business logic layer, data access layer, which improve the security, maintainability, reusability and expandability of the system.We divide the web page into modules, which improve the reusability and expandability of the system, and shorten the life cycle of the system. Implementing the general parts of the web page into modules, we can directly use them with programming again when we need to a new web page.We adopt object-oriented design and implement. we encapsulate the user, course, homework, notice into classes. And each class has its own operation class, which improve the security of database operation and the reusability and expandability of the program.According to the experiment results, the system achieves the desired goals , and meets the practical needs, and it is easy to operate. Compared with the traditional training methods, it is able to improve the quality of teaching, and promotes the development of experiment teaching. At the same time, it has a good application prospects, and it is valuable for other similar works.The main structure of this paper is as follows:Chapter 1 mainly introduces the background, and describes the reason of developing the system, the design goals of the system, the feature of the system and the main work of the paper.Chapter 2 mainly introduces the technology and knowledge used in developing the system, which include JSP(Java Server Pages), Servlet, the differences between JSP,ASP(Active Server Pages) and PHP(hypertext preprocessor), the features of JSP, VBScript and Telnet protocol.Chapter 3 mainly introduces the system analysis and design of the system, which includes: the design of the database, the deployment of the software and hardware of the system, function structure design, system design, and the function of each module, the relationship and structure of tables in database.Chapter 4 mainly introduces the detailed design and implement of the system. And it describe in detail the design of the database, the implement of the function, the design and implement of the login module, the student management of teacher module, the experiment module after student login, and the key technology used in the design and implement of the system.Chapter 5 mainly describes the running and testing condition of the system. According to the experiment results, the system proposed in this paper, which runs stably and is valuable for later studies.Chapter 6 summarizes the study of the paper, and gives the future works.
