With the development of technology, the product toward the tiny, precise direction, so the measurement of the small parts will be more and more. As the result of the high precision of the parts and the small in size, then the original contact measurement techniques will not fit very well. Machine vision measurement technology is a non-destructive measurement technique that combines photovoltaic technology, computer technology and measurement technology, which meets with the measurement of the small parts.This paper builds a set of vision measurement system based on the universal tool microscope, and completed the analysis and choice of the hardware, this system is mainly used for the precision measurement of the two-dimension micro-parts. The system can complete the big image measurement under the small view field throgh the research on the image stitching algorithm. At the same time, the system can complete the segmentation of the line and the arc and solve the relate parameter measurement on the arc and line. This system can carry out the high-accuracy dimensional measurement throgh the system calibration using the precise gauge block.The work of the paper is as follows: firstly, complete the choice and building of the hardware of the vision measurement system. Secondly, study and bring out the regional comparative algorithm and achieve the stitching of two images. Thirdly, study the primitive segmentation and fitting algorithm and using the seven-point curvature method to solve the segmentation of the arc and line, and using the least squre method to achieve the primitive fitting. At last, to achieve the system calibration using the precise gauge block and have the comparative test with the toolmaker's microscope, the result shows that the system has high accuracy.
