Computer vision is a new and developing technology, moreover the technology of measurement based on the computer vision is an advanced non-contact technique with the advantages of high speed, high accuracy and low cost. Therefore, it has a wide application prospect. In this paper, binocular stereo system is adopted to simulate the human eyes, and the key technology of camera's calibration, image process, area operation in the process of measuring object's 2-D projection area are studied. The main work and achievements of this thesis are as follows:In the module of the camera calibration, the images collected from the camera are corrected at first, and then a simple and practical method is adopted to calibrate the camera and acquire the parameters of the camera.In the module of the image process, the arithmetic of edge detection and image segmentation is mainly studied, and a method of edge connetion which suits for image segmentation is found, the object's pixel area in 2-D image is calculated.Last, in the module of the area calculation, the theory formula of binocular vision measuring the object's 2-D projection area is deduced in this paper. Then a simple matching method is used to complete the measurement of the object's 2-D projection area.The VC++ and Matlab mixed programming is used in this paper to implement the software of each key steps. |
