Wireless communication as an important tool to productive scheduling and rescue which is applied in the coal security production. However, the environment under the well is very special, and it is different from the normal ground communication.In order to research the propagation characteristic of the electric wave under the well, this paper analsize the current situation of the wireless channel in the different circumstance first, and it has made a simple description to technique problem of the current mine wireless communication. Second, it is comprehensive to describe the characteristic of the wireless channel, at the same time it introduce the redial track method and related principle and its specify procedure in detail. Take an example as rectangle hollow tunnel, the theory based on well tunnel UHF wireless electric magnetic wave propagation characteristic, it pays much point to use the radial track method near the field to summary the rules of channel characteristic and calculate the parameters related to distance, angle of reflect, reflector coefficients, the power loss of each radial, projective, the field intensity of reflect and diffraction radial, and analysis the other factors which have influence on the radial field intensity, such as antenna polarization direction, the rough intensity of the tunnel wall, the tilt angle of the tunnel etc. with the analysis to the electric wave attenuation characteristic under the well from ideal to the complex circumstance, it proposals a simple channel mode under the well. Finally, it has made a analogy test about channel attenuation to the reality tunnel, and make a simulation with Matlab. It comes a conclusion that the theory of this paper described is very reasonable with the compare about experiment data and the simulation curve, it provides a powerful basis for the wireless communication applied in the well.
