Research On NLP Technologies And Application In Chinese Information Processing

Based on present development condition of NLP (Natural Language Processing) technologies, this paper completely analyses how to use NLP technology in Chinese information processing.This paper is mainly divided into three parts. The first part mainly introduces present development condition of NLP technologies and a few key technologies involved in Chinese information processing.The second part mainly analyses the application of NLP technology in full-text information processing, mainly in three fields such as the application in user query analysis, information source processing and matched retrieval. It involves unknown words recognition, automatic indexing, automatic summarization, text classification, concept retrieval and so on.Aiming at the existent problem and the shortage of natural language retrieval system, the third part puts forward some countermeasures and advices to optimize search results:1) Construction a framework to deal with the query requests. It is hoped that it will be beneficial for better grasp to users'query requests.2) Analyzing the shortage of automatic indexing in information headstream processing, this paper proposes a general evaluation model of automatic indexing to evaluate the results of automatic indexing. The author designs a new algorithm which combines two methods:dictionary method and statistic method to improve the quality of automatic indexing.3) Importing the method of concept control, this paper establishes the theory model of natural language retrieval system based on concept control which uses concept match in order to improve retrieval system.
