The Application And Research Of Health Insurance Information System

Health Insurance is aim for the health of insurees. It provides the economical compensation for the insurees if they inccured a loss due to illness, accidence or be deprived of working ability, and economical compensation for long-term nursing care caused by oldness, illness or accidence.In recent years, with the development of the science and technology, computer and network technology has been accepted and used in more and more fields. As a developing industry, it's absolutely necessary for the health insurance adopting the advanced technology. Along with the reformation of medical system in our country, more and more people have taken the health insurance policies. What is more, with the expansion of the business scope and the increment of the information recorded, it is necessity for computer science and network technology to participate in the health insurance industry.This thesis mainly introduces the developing process of health insurance system. The system, which is based on two lays structure of c/s system and adopts the informix database, is implemented in unix operating system by making use of esql/c language. The system consists of four modules, including the collection and payments module, the management module, the search module and the assistance module.At first, the history of the health insurance is introduced, together with the necessity and the meaning of developing the health insurance system, meanwhile the development situation of the health insurance system in our country is presented. Additionally, the system was analyzed specifically in six aspects, including feasibility analysis, demand analysis, operation analysis, development method, structure and partition of the system. Then introduce the design of the system in detail, including the design of the database and the design and implementation of the function module, such as the collection and payment module and management module. The implementation of some programs is displayed using the procedure flow chart.The health insurance system connects the health insurance companies, banks and insurees together by using computer technology, and achieves the purpose that insurees can enjoy convenient and quick service.
