A Reaserch On Media Reports Of AIDS In China From A Perspective Of Health Communication

Since the first report on AIDS was published in 1981,the past nearly 30 years have witnessed. And the rapid widespread of the plague which now has become one of the essential diseases threatening human life.Expected to shoulder the responsibilities of transmitting information, spreading knowledge, educating and supervising, the news media surely plays an important role in the battle against AIDS throughout the society.In the thesis, the writer want to discuss ths reports on AIDS from a perspective of health communication ,and summarize the characters of the reports on AIDS of every period.With the content and the text analyses ,the thesis focuses on the characteristics in the selected coverage published on the People's Daily and the Nandu daily from Aug.28 to Sep.4 in 2007,2008,2009,and analyzing the reasons for the characteristics in these reports.All efforts come to the aim of exploring how to act actively on the AIDS report for the Chinese news media, which will further improve the development of China's public health communication and enhance the public health.
