The technique of virtual reality is one of the most advanced technologies of last century, which could create a virtual world of three-dimension space using computers, and offer the vision, imagination, feeling and olfaction to give the users experience and interaction with the virtual world to make them be personally on the scene through the using of appropriate equipment.First of all, this paper makes a briefly discussion of the technique of virtual reality, and then detailedly describe the model building for the virtual scene of innervational roller coaster by model building of geometry, physics and locomotion taking example for the model of roller coaster based on the totally analysis toward the method of model building for virtual reality. The model buildings consist of scene model building based on DirectX, the building for object model of three-dimension, locomotion rules of the object model in the virtual scene, the analysis of physical and the analysis of coordinate of the object model in the virtual space. Since the virtual scene of roller coaster is large and the big amount of models, we predigest the model using the technique of arrangement detaching of the model of the object, we choose gridding algorithm based on hem puckering after the analysis of several general algorithm, and successfully fractionize the orbit model of roller coaster by third class, the predigestion model disposed in the scene of middle or far distance could greatly increase the workload of the system and enhance the efficiency of building and updating for models. For the effect of reality for the virtual scene, we add collision detection during the process of making up the roller coaster, after particularly analyzing the algorithm of knocking test based on a layered bounding box tree, combining the excellences of the layered bounding ball model and the OBB bounding box, this paper offers the collision detection model of the mix bounding box adapted to the model of orbits, which ensures the accuracy of test when the redundancy fold searching is avoided, otherwise, the model is also used in the process of making up the orbits, and then avoids cases of not according with reality world, such as orbits superposition.During the phase of designing the structure for the virtual Motion flat, this paper independently designs the motion flat of two-free-degree based on motor ballscrew, and takes the motion simulation and running experiment simulating the motion stances of roller coaster. At the end of this paper, we simulate the visual angle collected by vidicon set on roller coaster, combining with the synchronization motion of two-free degree, makes the audience the feel of reality and immersion brought by the technique of virtual reality.
