As the world economy and the rapid development of information technology, radio frequency spectrum has become an important resource in modern human society.Increasingly wide range of wireless applications, radio frequency supply and demand become increasingly tense, making interference continues to grow. In particular, air navigation, radio, television, satellite communications and other important radio operations, are often subject to harmful and malicious interference, seriously affect the national security and social stability.Radio Monitoring is currently undertaken by the radio monitoring staff, which is completed by observing and analyzing the frequency spectrum of the received signal in real-time through monitoring network. The monitoring work requires very professional skills of the monitoring staff, which also greatly increased the monitoring staff's workload. The monitoring process is that monitor staffs with professional knowledge observe the received signal spectrum pattern and match them with patterns in their brain and analysis them. Pattern Recognition theory and method has been widely used in many disciplines and technical fields which promote the development of artificial intelligence systems and expand the field of computer applications, and which occupies a place of the eternal forefront topics of approaching human intelligence. It is said that pattern recognition have access to all areas of human life in an increasingly automated age[1-2].Due to the presence of clutter interference and other factors, the physical environment of transmitting and receiving radio signals will become extremely complex. For the process is uncertain, the signal spectrum model is uncertain, which boundaries are not clear[3].In this paper, fuzzy pattern recognition method is applied to the C-band radio monitoring areas. The satellite C-band radio signals intelligent monitoring system is developed, which has achieved the design goals through testing and practical application, and implemented the automatic monitoring of satellite C-band radio signals, and which has good application prospects. The main findings of this paper can be summarized as follows:1. The fuzzy pattern recognition method has been successfully applied to the C-band radio monitoring areas. Semi-supervised learning method is proposed based on the ISODATA algorithm, which has been applied to calculate the best cluster center matrix.2. The processing methods of signal frequency spectrum data are discussed. Based on a large number of simulation experiments, the method of extracting the signal characteristics is proposed. 3. The weighted absolute distance is used to calculate the distance between the unknown signal and each row vector of the best cluster center matrix. According to the minimum principle of distance , the type of the signal can be determined.4. This paper studies the theory, design and realization method of the intelligent analysis of satellite C-band radio system. This system is a virtual instrument system used to analyze the satellite C-band signal, which has a certain degree of intelligence.
