This paper is to give an in-depth study of the medical image processing technology, analysis and solve a number of the medical image subtraction processing issues. Through the research of the threshold segmentation algorithm and edge detection segmentation algorithm of computed tomography images and nuclear magnetic resonance images, a improved Live Wire medical image segmentation algorithm had been put forward, by using the improved filling algorithm, the image segmentations with internal details were obtained. Through the research of first grade and second grade similarity measure, it put forward two-dimensional /three-dimensional imaging registration algorithm which combined gradient information with mutual information. The algorithm can solve the question of partial extreme value without spatial information when pure using the mutual information of the two-dimensional medical image registration. At the same time, we use digitally reconstructed radiograph (DRR) image method ray tracking two 3D images, two 2D images digitally be reconstructed, by aligning 2D data to realize to align 3D data. It improved the speed of image reconstruction.This paper put forward a head NMR image segmentation method which is based on improved HMRF-EM framework, it put the bias field and the value of the estimated model parameters unified at the HMRF-EM framework, it also solve the automatically estimated of priori model parameters. It had made a qualitative and quantitative comparison of improve pre-and improved head NMR image segmentation method based on HMRF-EM framework. Help to improve the efficiency of the method.This paper also discusses the algorithm of virtual endoscope, by using of VTK, a design method of virtual endoscope is given .In the process of implementation the virtual endoscope, the key points, difficult, and visualized algorithm implementation of virtual endoscope has been analyzed, the path extraction algorithm, route smoothing algorithm and automatically find entry point algorithm has been designed .
