In the food industry of China,beer industry is a very important industrial sector.With the steady development of national economy and improving people's lives,beer industry is in the rapid development.Industrial production of beer fermentation process is an essential part of the process, so the beer fermentation process control is essential. With the continuous development of automation technology and in-depth application of the automation,how to improve the automation of beer become a very good research topic. In this paper, the automatic control theory has been analyzed, studied and compared,and behind beer fermentation process engineering background,we use two-degree-of-freedom Smith predictor to solve Beer fermentation process for the existence of large time delay, time-varying characteristics,so the entire system have good robust.To improve the accuracy and speed of beer fermentation process control, we use the advanced embedded systems.In this paper, the beer fermentation control system is used at distributed control system.PC focus on monitoring and management.LPC2200 which can streamlin of the external devices and improve the accuracy is used at a very low power consumption, speed up the unique structure, there are multiple timers, and with the A / D transfer.In Beer fermentation process, the temperature change is the major factor. Therefore, the temperature control of beer fermentation process directly affects the quality of beer.There is inertia, large time daily and nonlinear in fermentation process.when the object changes, traditional Smith predictor is difficult to achieve timely and tracking technology curve requirements accuratly. In this paper,we use the two-degree-of-freedom Smith predictor which has a strong anti-interference ability and capability to adapt.PC-interface is used to achieve R & D software Siemens WinCC. It provides a friendly interface and convenient operation, enabling a database management and delivery, process parameters and it can display the temperature curve (print) and schematic module, data maintenance, etc.Communication system use RS485 transmission standards.With embedded in the beer fermentation control system,the system not only get good results and has maintenance,it has scalable,and high reliability ,low cost compared Mostly,it meet the needs of industrial beer fermentation and improve the level of automation of beer fermentation control.
