With the rapid development of information technology, information security has become a major challenge of the global information. Cryptography is the basis of information security, and the security of the key is the dependency of cryptography system. There are two problems, one is the contradiction between the randomness of the key and the user's memory, the other is the lack of connection between the legitimate users and the key. To resolve them, it have proposed biometric key technology in this paper. The raised problems can be solved by Bio-key technology. It can help with a fuzzy biological information and the accuracy require of cryptography get a certain balance. Biometrics can not only be a random value, but also be a person's identity. If we use it as a key, it is a good solution to the password of the secrecy and anti-lazy problems can be arrival solved. The leading biometric recognition technology is fingerprint recognition in terms of market share at present, a lot of field lines have been made fingerprint identification products, it will also be a sudden increase in the next five years, so it will be important significance and wide application prospects for the research on biometric key technology based on fingerprint.Firstly, it researched a fingerprint feature extraction algorithm in this paper, which is base on minutia features. It optimized the feature extraction process, limited the search scope of the feature points. So the work efficiency effectively has been improved and the workload of the removal of false feature points has been reduced. The fingerprint feature can be well expressed by the extraction results. It has laid a good foundation for the realization of the key technologies based on fingerprint feature.Secondly, it studied a fingerprint pseudo random generator in this paper, it's improved of the traditional random generator. It made a series of translation and rotation to fingerprint characteristic information by the algorithm, and generated a set of new fingerprint feature information. Then it generated a specific length of the key by the hash operation. Its advantage is the same fingerprint features can generate the specified and unspecified fingerprint key repeatedly. This program can ensure the confidentiality of the fingerprint features and the integrity when be used. At the same time because the topology of fingerprints did not be changed, it can verified the source of the fingerprint.At last it analyzed the hybrid encryption technology. Its advantage is the speed of the algorithm is high, and it is easy to transmit and manage the key. Its disadvantage is it can't do self-certification of the key. It researched on a hybrid cryptology technology based on fingerprint key in this paper. It used symmetric encryption algorithm to encrypt files, and used un-symmetric cryptography algorithm to encrypt and transport the key of symmetric encryption system. It used the fingerprint pseudo random generator to generate key which is used by symmetric encryption algorithm. The sender applied the key from the Certificate Authority which is used by un-symmetric cryptography algorithm. It can get the key if passes the PKI authentication. This algorithm solved the problem of the lack of connection between the legitimate users and the key, and contradiction between the randomness of the key and the user's memory.Finally, it gave the system simulation by experiment in this paper, and analyzed the safety of the system. The hybrid cryptology technology based on fingerprint key not only has the low-cost advantage, but also has the high-speed of AES algorithm and easy to manage the key of the RSA algorithm. In the same time, this system can do the dual certification, it has a good security. So the hybrid cryptology technology based on fingerprint key is a kind of technology which has a widely application prospect.
