The generation of the pseudo random numbers and the statistical test of the performance of it is a fundamental research work in the communication system simulation. To guarantee simulating successfully for some specifically purposes, we must provide appropriate pseudo random numbers generators.With the improvement of the computational ability of the computer, the random number generator has more and more extensive apply in a great deal of fields. Till now, there are a lot of generators and a large amount of theoretical research done on this subject, still there are some defects. In this thesis, we firstly summarize the basical principle of random number generation and some existed random number generators, then present a new combined random number generator which is based on the special characters of super prime number and combined with the virtue of the generalized feedback shift register generator(GFSRG).Through a mass of statistical checks, this combined random numbers generator can pass all the tests such as parameter tests(which involves with mean,2-order matrix and variance tests),uniform tests(which includes Chi-square test, K-S test and serial test)and independence test(which concerns with correlation test, column-with-table test).The tests results prove that this combined random numbers generate method has good statistical property and has the better period, uniform and dependency performance than the existed combined methods and other single generate methods, so it is of practical value.
