The success of 2008 Beijing Olympics shows the strength of Chinese position in the international community to the world. Meanwhile, it's also a good chance for the world to get well known of Chinese people and traditional culture. Nowadays, international event is not only a skills competition, but also an event having an important mission of economic development. Although Guangzhou Asia Games could reference the successful experience of Beijing Olympics and Doha Asia Games and there are a lot of local media in Guangzhou as a communication support, however, how to combine the brand of Guangzhou City with the brand of Guangzhou Asia Games is still a question to be further study.In this paper, the definition of Cross-media Communication Strategy is that the cooperation, symbiotic coordination and interaction among medias. The success of Asia Games can't deal without careful preparation and publicity. In the period of mass communication and Focus Communication mixed together, a single form of communication will be difficult to meet the growing needs of individual audiences.The Cross-media Communication of Guangzhou Asia Games just meets the needs of diverse audiences. And it is a good way cost less money to spread the variety information of Guangzhou Asia Games. On the study of the dissemination for Guangzhou Asia Games in Cross-media, this paper used the methods of paper questionnaires and interviews to get the latest spread of Guangzhou Asia Games.Finally, base on the consumers'habits, I have the suggestions as below. At first, put the traditional Medias as the most important one and use cross-media communication with both traditional media and new media. Secondly, pay attention to the internal collaboration of traditional Medias. Etc.Above all, the resource sharing and communication are the most important part for Guangzhou Asia Games, which must be organized by the Asia Games Organizing Committee.
