The Design And Implementation Of Digital Library Local Characteristic Resource Management And Integrated Services

In the modern digital library construction, construction and management of digital resources is a very important foundation, to provide users of digital resource service is a core service. How to better centralized management of all types of digital resources, providing one-stop integrated service is the direction of current digital library development and goal. In response to this goal, this paper presented digital library local characteristic resource management and integrated service issues. In this digital library local characteristic resource management and integrated service platform, not only focused on management of all resources, including the dissertation and other resources for more than ten kinds of local characteristic resources, it also provided a variety of services, such as local lucene search service, web service interface service, personalized service.Local characteristic resource management and integrated service was mainly reflected in three aspects:the integration of resources, services and management. Construction and management of digital resources were the basis for this platform, how to provide users with a variety of digital resources in line with specifications, how to enrich the types of digital resources were important research contents. In view of this situation, this paper presented two kinds of digital resources processing modes:based on resource templates and based on open source software ResCarta, and the design achieved its indexing process, auditing process and publishing. On this basis, a comparative analysis of these two kinds of processing models and the scope of application, it was not only to provide the basis for a one-stop resource construction of an integrated platform,but also to provide a new approach for a digital library of digital resources in the processing and management. In addition, on the basis of resource construction, to provide users with an integrated service, including local search service, Web Service interface service, personalized service. Local search service was achieved through the Lucene and database search.Web Service used Web Service interface design services, the idea of digital resources to the local system as a Web Service server for the digital library calls to other subsystems, such as a unified search system. Personalized service started from the user's personal preferences via customization or configuration services. In this way, the digital resources were to achieve local service, but also to achieve external services. Finally, for security policy, the system also achieved authentication strategy based on CAS and implementation of user roles and resource access control management.
