The sensitivity of EMC test system is an important indicator to measure the performance of the whole system. And the sensitivity of the current and the international test systems is not sufficient to effectively detect the interference signals generated by the equipments; the degree of automated measurement is not enough. This test system uses ultra-wideband planar antenna with superior performance as a test antenna. The size of antenna is small; the range of bandwidth is wide; the antenna enables the test system to achieve high sensitivity up to-127dBm, which is far superior to the existing test systems.This paper first describes the overview of electromagnetic compatibility testing technology, the overall structure of the system and the key technologies. Then this paper describes in detail the structural relationship and the design principle of the various parts in the system, which focuses on the design principle and the improvement program of the shielding box, as well as the features and advantages of the ultra-wideband antenna. Next, this paper describes in detail the testing process of the whole system; analyzes and compares the test results, and also further validates the improvement of accuracy due to the improvement of the system sensitivity. This paper not only gives the test results of frequency-domain but also gives the test patterns of time-domain, and introduces the advantage and principle of the two test methods.In the end, this paper gives the brief introduction about the establishment and application of Labview virtual instrument in the integrated environment, and the automatic data processing software interface diagram developed by the author.
