The Measurement And Analysis Of IP Network Traffic

Nowadays, with the rapid development of Internet, network applications are more and more diverse;the internet content are more and more complex;the network coverage are more and more wider and people's work and life are more and more closer with network. At the same time, the requirements of users on the quality of network service and the security of internet content have become more sophisticated, so the analysis of network traffic and the security auditing of internet content have become hot research issues.The analysis and classification of network traffic can provide support of traffic monitoring and management for network service provider, and also provide support for researcher to analyze the traffic and user behavior. At the same time, the security auditing of network content can provide users with clean network environment, which is crucial to the further construction and development of network.In this paper, firstly the mature primary means of network traffic monitoring, the content of network traffic monitoring and main analysis methods of network data were studied.Secondly,some common network protocols such as HTTP, SMTP, POP3,BT were introduced.Thirdly, in the chapter V, the design implement and main functions of the system of network traffic analysis were introduced. And the traffic analysis of real network traffic based on this system was briefly introduced.In chapter VI, the significance of Internet content security auditing was described and the overall framework and functions of the ICSA (Internet Content Security Auditing) system were introduced.At last, in order to improve the systems, chapterⅦdescribed the advantages and disadvantages of the two systems.
