High spectral efficiency technologies are necessary for future wireless communication due to the 5 Ws requirement (ie. whoever, wherever, whenever, whomever & whatever). Based on information theory and time-variant fading channels theory, Prof. Li Daoben proposed a novel art of high spectral efficiency system, named generalized parallel transmission based on Overlapped Multiplexing. Overlapped Code Division Multiplexing (OVCDM) and Overlapped Code Division Multiple Access (OVCDMA) are the key technology especially. Based on the overlapped symbols which can achieve coding constrain, it can be improved frequency efficiency and system performance. It is combined the coding, multiplexing, accessing together. The overlapped multiplexing is a more natural way to achieve coding and all the other technology can be thought the special type of OVCDM/OVCDMA. Though simulation, this dissertation is analyzed the performance of Turbo Product Coding and Polynominal Interleaver on OVCDM/OVCDMA platform.Channel estimation is also a key technology using in 4G mobile system. The perfect complete complementary orthogonal code has the perfect correlation. So it can be used to be the pilot sequence. This method has the simple algorithm and its performance is better than the traditional channel estimation.
