Research About Penetration Testing Of SIP Protocol And Design And Implementation Of A Testing Tool

As a core control protocol of NGN(Next Generation Network), SIP protocol has become a hot topic recently. The problems of SIP protocol security have been the basic ones that are needed to be solved, penetration testing is one way to deal with security threats. How to make penetration testing on SIP protocol, and based on this idea to design and implement a testing tool, to improve testing efficiency, to ensure the validity of test results have became problems that should been faced together and are needded to be solved.Firstly This thesis mainly introduces the theme of penetration testing and SIP protocol security. The mainly puspose of this is to learn penetration testing and analysis security risks of SIP protocol. On the base of the thority above, we design a penetration testing program of SIP protocol, whose features are easy to expand, good interaction, distributed and so on. Then we design and implement a testing tool. The tool is used to test the security of a equipments which supports SIP protocol.At last, we verify the correctness of fatures and results of the testing tool in the simulation network. The results show that the program is correct and the realization of the testing tool is effective.
