With the rapid development of wireless communication, human's requests for high-speed packet data service become imperative. As the radio resource is limited, people have to develop technologies that harness the available resource more efficiently so as to transmit higher data rate at the limited spectrum. To cope with this problem, many kinds of technologies have been investigated, such as link level adaptive technology, error control technology, high order modulation technology, and so on. In this paper, we compared and analyzed the impact on system performance by using HARQ technology in TDD-LTE systems.In order to make this thesis complete, chapter 1 first presents the introductions to the theory of wireless fading channel and describe the principle and method of link-level simulation.In chapter 2, TDD-LTE system is introduced briefly. And we study the link level performance in TDD-LTE system.In chapter 3, link level adaptation technology, especially HARQ, IR and AMC are introduced respectively. And we discuss and analyze the HARQ performance in TDD-LTE system. In chapter 4, we propose a HARQ scheme based on AMC which is a combination of AMC and HARQ. And we compare and analyze the throughput performance of our scheme with that of the traditional one.Chapter 5 is a brief conclusion.
