As one of the third generation mobile communication technologies, TD-SCDMA has obtained great achievements in standardization and equipment certification in 2005-2006 and is paid more attention by the industry-insiders from equipment manufacturers, network operators and wireless internet service providers. It is widely anticipated that commercial TD-SCDMA networks will be deployed and put into operation before 2008 Olympic Games. As a result, research and development of TD-SCDMA technology have become one the hottest spots in mobile communication area.This thesis mainly focuses on author's research and development work in "TD-SCDMA terminal test set". In this project, the author has participated in project investigation, specification and requirement, system design, software development and test, and is dedicatedly responsible for the base-band downlink module design.The main contents of the thesis list as follows:Introduce three kinds of 3 generation mobile communication technologies, among which TD-SCDMA technology is focused. And then point out the project requirement and significance of our work.Introduce TI TMS320C6000 DSP, CCS 2, and relative 3GPP technical specification.Introduce the hardware platform and software architecture of the TD-SCDMA terminal test set.Based on the real product, describe how the author designed and implemented the base-band downlink module of the test set which consists of P-CCPCH, S-CCPCH, DPCH, PICH, FPACH and DwPCH.
