The Interconnection Of MANET And The Internet

MANET (Mobile Adhoc Network) is a group of wireless transmitter and receiver with a mobile terminal nodes of multi-hop Adhoc network. Its predecessor was the packet radio network. Based on research of the packet radio network due to the need for military communications, it can work alone in this network, you can also access to other large networks such as the Internet, as mobile communication technology and personal communication technology development, people have mobile data communications increasing demand. So MANET with the Internet interconnection issues become the focus of recent research. The structure of the two network connections, from an external perspective, Adhoc networks are viewed as a subnet. Through the use of Mobile IP,AODV, DSR and OLSR to achieve the MANET nodes and the Internet connection between the multi-hop.This paper first describes MANET routing protocols include AODV,OLSR, DSR,the mobile IP and the network systems, and then focuses on the design of NS-2 simulator construction, implementation methods and simulation.In the above basis of the study, useing mobile IP technology to improve it and change the gateway discovery strategy in order to achieve the network load low-cost solutions. According to the functional requirement to identify changes to the mobile IP module. Then, the article gives the final process programs, and the gateway node to find independent, certification and registration needs of the business approach. The article also described the process of carried out simulation, simulation results show that the superiority of the design of the interconnect method. Finally,the article points out the shortcomings of the study and future research directions.
