Wireless sensor network(WSN) , which integrates the technologies of sensor, micro-electro-mechanism system, wireless communication and distributed computing, is a next generation of network. A wireless sensor network is composed of a large number of sensor nodes with limited resources, storage, and communication capabilities. Its applications have were extended from military domains to other areas, such as environment monitoring, traffic management , heath and medical community, manufacturing ,anti-terrorist, anti-disaster and so on.It make people can collect numerous full and accurate, reliable information at any time, any location and environment.Wireless sensor network is usually deployed no-man maintain, condition foul, even hostile environment . And sensor nodes are limited extremely resources wireless communication facilities.Security about wireless sensor network is a very challenging at integrated effect of many factors, such as intricate ,various secure requirement and 1imited resources. And even wireless sensor network has been restricted to the promotion of industrial development for this. For this reason, lots of efforts need to be spent on security issues of wireless sensor network. It is very important to establish pair-wise key between any two sensors for sensor network security. This article is based on the key management techniques, and the main work includes the following three aspects:(1)Some features of security and key management research of wireless sensor network are described in this paper.then, the existing key pre-distribution schemes are discussed in this paper.(2)In depth study based on the E-G scheme, for its shortcomings and make improvements, designed clustering-based pair-wise key management protocol. It effectively allows any nodes establish security keys, improve network connectivity, but also reduces the overhead of key establishment process. And then the protocol on the key connectivity, Resilience, overhead, flexibility, scalability and other factors were analyzed.(3)This protocol, combined with AES encryption and SHA1 function, is simulated in the ns-2 platform, showing the feasibility of the program under certain circumstances through the demonstration.
