In recent years, the development and application of the computer network is getting more and more concerned with the Information Technology wave of the world. Enterprise, especial giant one, has built its own LAN to manipulate the information. Contrast to traditional small LAN, the network in contemporary enterprise is so complicated and open that the traditional 2-tier Client/Server architecture can hardly meet the need, the multi-tier architecture emerges as the times require.Middleware is the core technology in the multi-tier architecture. It shields the physical and logic difference of operating system and database product, provides a common means of communication and independence from the network and operating system for applications in network environment.According to the requirement of the dongying Intellectual Property Office Decision Information Management System (DIMS), this paper gives the solution which is using the MOM and J2EE platform to build the 4-tier architecture. The message_ queuing_based middleware WebSphere MQ applied in DIMS implements the huge throughout data communication under multi-vendor operating systems. The thesis has finished job as follows:(1) In the use of middleware, J2EE platform, multilayer Web system structure, message oriented middleware technology on the key techniques such as the research and application.(2) Comparing two, three and multi-distributed architecture, combining the advantages and disadvantages of the system based on J2EE DIMS the four layers structure of design and implementation.(3) Further middleware main characteristics and advantages, and emphatically introduced the message oriented middleware technology, and on the basis of detailed discussion on the message oriented middleware DIMS system implementation.(4) On the basis of theoretical analysis, using middleware and four layers structure of realization and DIMS in.This solution is full of flexibility and expansibility considering its functional classification, system extensibility, and maintainability.
