Photoelectric detector as the key part of data acquisition of industiral CT system,willtransfer the intensity distribution of the targeted inner information into electric signa ls formedby spatial distribution. The performa nce parameters of the detector determine the quality ofthe projection data, then influence the reconstructed CT ima ges. Therefore, simulation of thedetector is one of the most important techniques in the virtual CT system. At present,researchers home and abroad achieved the simulation through Monte Carlo method, which iscomplex in ima ging model and algorithm, and it is limited only to theory researches notsuitable for practica l examples.Taken amorphous silicon flat-panel detector as the object of study, based ontransformation of x ray–visible light and photoelectric conversion, the author forms acomparatively idea l ima ging model of the detector, to solve the detecor simulation problem.Firstly, the author analyzes the parameters of aperture effect, spectural response, dispersioneffect and random noise; then tests the series parameters through simultation experiment;afterwards makes comparison between the real testing system and the virtual one. Finally theauthor gets the conclusion that the model formed is workable for its vivid reflection of thewhole ima ging process. The mathematica l model in this paper is easy to handle,mea nwhile thecomplexity ,simulation degree and running speed are appropriate, which makes the simulationexperiment vivid and easy.
