It is studied on production scheduling of curing process in vulcanization workshop under dynamic and uncertain environments. First of all, issue of the curing process is analysed and modeled, then standard particle swarm optimization algorithm is improved and simulated. The purpose is seeking effective ways for production scheduling of vulcanization workshop in dynamic and uncertain environments. Related technologies are further improved and theory and practical method is provided.Main results as follows:(1) A chaos two-mutation collaborative multi-group PSO algorithm is proposed. This new algorithm is improved from three sides. Fist of all, for the shortings of the basic particle swarm optimization, the particles are chaotic initialized. Second, for the actual vulcanization process the local-value variation and the variable-step and reversed order mutation is proposed. This is the two-mutation principle. Finally, for the updating strategy of multi-group collaboration, a multi-group co-evolution particle swarm optimization algorithm is propsed. It is not only to maintain the population diversity, but also to avoid local optimal algorithm.(2) According to the characteristics of curing process in curing workshop, features of curing process of the multi-objective production scheduling is analysed, and multi-objective vulcanization workshop is modeling. The improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is compared with the standard genetic algorithm, the standard particle swarm algorithm, and the literature to improve particle swarm optimization algorithms. The simulation results show that the improved particle swarm optimization of this article is effective in solving practical vulcanizing workshop scheduling problem.(3) For the production scheduling of vulcanization workshop in dynamic and uncertain environments, two aspects of the same vulcanizing machines and unequaled vulcanizing machines is studied. For the dynamic scheduling of vulcanization workshop on the unequaled vulcanizing machines, a two-dimensional variable-length coding method and the scroll window - online rescheduling strategy is proposed. For the dynamic scheduling of vulcanization workshop on the same vulcanizing machines, a two-dimensional equal-length coding method and the forecast and cycle robust scheduling strategy is proposed. Respectively, the dynamic events of mechanical fault, emergency orders and so on are studied. The research results are very effective.
