Optical telecommunications networks have a very complex switching devices and network structure. As the telecommunications services constantly improve the optical network resources, the planning, construction and maintenance of optical network is growing. In order to better meet business needs, achieve precise cable resources management and intelligent monitoring support, Zhejiang Telecom first propose the building of optical network operation support systems. On the one hand Telecom Optical Network Operation Support System can be able to manage the optical network resources, on the-other hand can take advantage of a variety of drawings for planning, new circuit design, and transformation of the old-line maintenance support. Paper focuses on division of optical network drawing module which is one of Telecom Optical Network Operation Support System modules and its algorithm implementation. Demand for division-level mainly comes from:From the view of network transformation, with the updating of access network, optical fiber access will become a major telecommunications access. In order to better support the optical network operators to realize the overall planning, we need drawings which can show regional and inter-regional information. Such drawings are C3C4 trunk optical cable drawing, transport layer trunk optical cable logic drawing and communications optical cable logic drawing and so on.From the view of network construction, the change of "electric" to "optical" Means the construction and maintenance of a large number of trunk cables and distribution cables. However, the cable construction design, troubleshooting, and completion of the record need all kinds of drawings. Therefore, constructive maintenance classes'drawings are most frequently used and have largest number. Because of different people have different view of the same stuff, we needs different kinds of drawings to show the nature of optical cables. Such drawings are optical cable routing drawing, optical cable orthogonal logic drawing, optical cable directional logic drawing, optical cable splitting drawing and EPON topological drawing and so on. From the view of business transformation, with the arrival of full-time business operations of China Telecom, the competition between telecommunications services will focus on government-enterprise customers and the bandwidth and so on. In order to familiar with the optical fiber business of key account and the optical resource utilization, and to analyze the potential customer's demand, improve resource utilization, timely expansion of resources, we need to link business and resources in a reasonable, and show them to customer's business resource drawing. Such drawings are customer business resource drawing, customer safety and security loop drawing, optical transfer equipment overlaid plot and so on.Firstly, this article analyzes the network level and the characteristics of resource entities, sum hierarchy of optical networking line drawing system. Secondly, from the amount of data, data format and data content of each layer optical network summarized the content and form of display of each layer optical network. Thirdly, find a set of suitable algorithm and improve it. Finally, establish a complete set of fully demonstrated drawing algorithm at all levels and types of optical networks. Through these rich drawings, telecommunications planning maintenance personnel can be a clear understanding of the actual situation of optical networks and make rational planning and design, optimize and improve existing optical network.In this paper, the main work and research include the following aspects:Firstly, introduced the topic relevant background, research situation, as well as the research aims, content and feasibility of such basic information, and study the feasibility of papers were analyzed.Secondly, describes the GIS platform and resource platform of the system. Analyze the network level and the physical characteristics of resource entity, and sum the hierarchy of optical networking line drawing system. Then, do a brief description of each layers'drawings.Thirdly, describes the planning management logic drawing algorithms. Focuses on large geographical area occupied C3C4 trunk optical cable drawing algorithms, and illustrative an example to combine with the actual data which verify correctness and rationality of the algorithm.Fourthly, describes constructive maintenance classes'drawings. Including optical cable routing drawing, optical cable orthogonal logic drawing, optical cable directional logic drawing, optical cable splitting drawing and EPON topological drawing and so on. For each type of graph algorithms, introduced the background, data sources and algorithmic process described in detail and in the final show the effect of each drawing.Fifthly, describes customer business resource drawing as a member of customer service class drawing. Mainly introduce the interface of resource system and the CRM system and show data processing methods.This article describes the various types of optical network graphics rendering algorithm model has been fully achieved in Zhejiang Telecom Optical Network Operation Support System. The system is now running in Huzhou, Hangzhou and Ningbo branch of China Telecom. Verifying from test by the data accuracy, graphics and drawing performance shows that this method can meet the requirements. It provides a very efficient IT solution to Optical Network Operation Support System.In the end, sum up some problems of the optical networking line drawing algorithm in Optical Network Operation Support System, and expressing the prospects for future work.
