With the rapid economic development of our country, the water pollution is becoming more and more serious, so using the remote sensing technology for studying the environmental monitoring systems and making the water quality monitoring reports may make the significant contribution to the sustainable development of the environment and society. A high accuracy water monitoring report can reflect the pollution situation of water real-time, quickly and accurately, and provide the relevant departments with the latest, most comprehensive real-time monitoring data and make the decision in terms of it.The correction technology of water quality monitoring image is particular important in the study of the environment remote sensing monitoring system, it directly affects the accuracy of the water quality monitoring report. In this paper, we discussed the correction technology of the water quality remote sensing image, and studied the technology of eliminating the abnormal value and statistical regressive correction with emphasis in introducing the processing technology of remote sensing image. To sum up, the main research work are listed below:Firstly, on the basis of the existing technology of remote sensing image processing, we further analyzed the characteristics and processing method of remote sensing image of water quality, introduced the classic algorithm thoughts of remote sensing image processing and did a comparison and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms.Next, we analyzed the source and the characteristic of the abnormal value in remote sensing monitoring image of water quality. Then we introduced some commonly eliminating method and the data statistics method of the histogram, and laid special stress on comparing and analyzing the eliminating method of the abnormal value which caused by image noise. By combining the water characteristic of water quality monitoring image, we proposed an algorithm of eliminating abnormal value which based on the gray level histogram by using the thoughts of the histogram and spatial-domain filtering. Based on the algorithm thoughts, we can realize this module function by programming. The experiment indicated that, this algorithm can eliminate the abnormal value of the water quality monitoring image quickly and effectively, and obtained the obvious effect.Finally, we analyzed the geometric correction algorithm and model of the remote sensing image in depth, and systematically studied the mathematical model of data statistical regression. In accordance with the regression algorithm and model of the geometrical correction of remote sensing image, and combined the measurement data of the suspended material concentration in Taihu lake, we put forward a correction algorithm of water quality remote sensing image based on piecewise linear regression. The algorithm divided the image into several different regions, by using the image data and measurement data, on the basis of linear regression formula, updating formula of corresponding area was established, and it could make regression operation to the pixel value of the image. According to the algorithm thoughts, we can realize this module function by programming. The experiment indicated that the algorithm can correct the image data quickly, accurately and effectively.
