As the advancement of society, development of economic, the issue of environment protecting increasingly draws the attention of contemporary society. At the present time, the technology of embedded system is being widely used, the embedded server in the remote monitor system of pollution sources can implement the effective monitoring of many pollution sources, including water,air, collecting data which were passed from pollution sources, process it properly so we can discover and solve the problem timely. Therefore, the server of monitor system plays an important role in governing the pollution sources. How to manager the server of monitor system properly and how to monitor it while provide a unified,friendly interface to the administrator becoming an issue which deserves special attention.There are different server monitor systems aimed at different types of server. For instance, Web servers,FTP servers,mail servers,agent servers is corresponding to its server manager system respectively. It is designed to meet the different characteristics of security requirement,accessing requirement,reliability requirement,customer requirement. Therefore, the server manage system in the automatic monitoring of pollution sources must provide proper management according to the characteristic of embedded system. The embedded system has the advantage such as small volume, low price, low consumed power. It is more applicable to execrable occasion such as industry monitoring environment. Meanwhile, it has the disadvantage of limited resources, limited capability, can't provide a friendly interface to the server administrator. The server manage system in the automatic monitoring of pollution sources put the issue of providing a friendly interface at the first place, screen the differences of hardware of all the embedded server system, provide a unified interface to the administrator, accept the commands from administrator, monitoring the status of server system, set its parameters, implement the layout of data structure in communication.This paper design and implement a server manage system in the automatic monitoring of pollution sources using MFC aimed at meeting the requirement of embedded server system, provided a unified, friendly interface and introduced the principle of the system as part the system into two parts: the implementation of interface and functionality, introduced the implementation of switching views, the application of view controls, the design of data structure, the process of communication threads, the operation of files and other functionality such as setting parameters, the implementation of security mechanism in detail, implement a server manage system in the automatic monitoring of pollution sources ultimately and offer testing and analysis on it.
