With a series of remarkable events such as the gradual opening of our national telecommunication market and the delivery of the 3G licenses, our telecommunication industry accesses to a 3G standard. As for GSM network operator, TD-SCDMA network construction is not only a system engineering but a new network construction project, which involves broad range of fields, long-term cyclicality as well as considerable investment. In this regard, in order to build a basic 3G network quickly, reduce the operating costs and launch the market as soon as possible, TD-SCDMA base station should process the co-site construction under the circumstance of needs-meeting in the initial period.TD-SCDMA and GSM base station definitely increases the interference chances between TD-SCDMA system and co-site or neighbor-site GSM system, so the compatible problem of electromagnetic environment between these two systems will expose. Accordingly, it is necessary for us to make use of previous research outcomes efficiently to do the modeling and simulation in terms of the multiply network interferences, analyze the co-site made interference mechanism and isolation calculation, and work on the optimization.Firstly, this paper states the GSM network as well as TD-SCDMA network and presents their own networks'system features and pivotal techniques. Secondly, three major interferences theories of telecommunication system are recommended and, with the mechanisms of three interferences, the paper studies the methods for calculating the three interferences between GSM and TD-SCDMA systems. Thirdly, having various groups of possible interferences of specific data, the paper conducts detailed analysis, proposes customized optimization as well as GSM network and TD-SCDMA network co-site interference solution. Ultimately, the thesis briefs the growing trend and prospect of the Wi-Fi co-site network.
