The Function Design And Application For Signaling Monitoring System On Wireless Network Optimization

With the rapid development of telecommunication industry in China, link increases substantially. More and more service putting into use leads to signal network more and more complex. As a result, traditional maintenance which relays on switcher and monitor could not satisfy our demand. More complicated requirements spring up in the maintenance of the signal network. Meanwhile, signal messages which carry all information of the network are very valuable resources. It's much important to make full use of and excavate information on the network, as well as improve the operating efficiency of the network Therefore, construction of centralized monitoring system and a high-level maintenance of the signal network become urgent.In order to enhance the capacity and quality of the signal monitoring system, BMCC carries out a series of construction and improvement according to the strategy of CMCC. In this paper, the author introduced and summarized the application design and typical cases of the signal monitoring system in the wireless network optimization, in accordance with his research on basic principle of GSM, TD-SCDMA network signal monitoring and practice in the construction of signal monitoring system at BMCC.The first chapter introduces the background of the paper and the status and development of signal monitoring system around the world. The second chapter describes some basic principles of signal monitoring system, the scope of monitoring and the structure of the system, as well as the application of signal monitoring system in the network optimization. Chapter Three aims at the design and implementation of the Signal Monitoring System at BMCC. The fourth chapter details some cases of signal monitoring system on the application of network optimization at BMCC. The final chapter summaries and looks forward some new application of signal monitoring system.
