As a part of Safe Management System of an institution or a company, Visitor Information Management System is not efficient enough because of the visitor's randomness and numerous. In the requirements for security and information technology, we need a visitor information management system can achieve real-time information of visitors efficiently.RFID equipment has flexibility, maintainability and scalability when applied in location tracking, but the existing RFID location tracking applications, mostly on the static or fixed target trajectory systems.The main work of this thesis is to provide a visitor information management system integrated with RFID technology which can achieve real-time location information and tracking of visitors. RFID-based visitor information management system must be able to quickly match RFID tags and visitors, with the ability of locating visitors and calculating the tracking of visitors. In this thesis, we introduce the Internet of things and the RFID technology firstly. Then we design the visitor information management system framework and provide a detailed analysis of the functions of each moduleThe system is based on database SQL SERVER 2008, There are four modules:client module, server module, WEB server module, RFID reader controller module. The modules connect to the LAN and use the XML messages to interact. Now the visitor information management system has been finished. The system passed the test and turned on a good performance.
