Followed the rapid development of science and technology, Cell phone is no longer merely a tool for communication. His ability to deal with data is comparable with a computer. At the same time, the continuous improvement of the wireless network transmission capacity and transmission quality and the coming of 3G lay a foundation for online applications. It will bring about a new entrainment experience for mobile phone users. So it is very important for us to make development and research of online applications and games on mobile platform.The thread of this paper is the whole developing process of several of online games. First, we have a brief introduction of the development of CDMA wireless network and the prospects of online games. Then, we have made a detailed introduction of the core technology of BREW 3.15 platform.The most important part of this article is the design and implementation of the client and the server of online application. It includes the network transmission, the client and the server. First of all, we have a brief introduction of the data transfer process and correlation technology of the network transmission. Then, we have a deep explanation on software development process of the client and the server from the detail module partition perspective. We have a brief introduction of the key function modules of the client and the server. Then we have a deep explanation on the implementation process and the key technology of the every function module. At last this paper elaborates on aspects of the optimization of online applications. Especially, we have proposed the solutions in the area of the Address Book and SMS based on BREW 3.15 platform.
