With the fast development of computer technology and chip manufacturing technology. Embedded System is spreading out and getting popularly used in scientific research and every daily life. As a powerful, open source operating system, Linux has seen rapid development in recent years.In addition,ZigBee technology is an emerging short-range, low-speed, low-power, two-way wireless communication technology, the ZigBee wireless sensor network, consisted of ZigBee technology and wireless sensor technology, making the data's' automated collection, analysis and processing more easily. In many areas, such as industrial, medical and intelligence, both the zigBee technology and wireless sensor technology have been widely applied.This paper introduces the development and research status of the embedded system and wireless communication first, and then explanation the hardware design of the embedded remote Wireless Monitoring System based on the high-performance embedded micropocessor S3C2440 and ZigBee wireless communication module CC2430. And then using the embedded Linux operating system and protocol stack ZigBee 2006 to build software platform, after that, it analysis of the various parts of the system software design, The software portion of the Linux-ARM which are mainly related to Linux multi-threaded programming, Socket programming for network and QT for interface programming; Wireless communication module mainly used the protocol stack ZigBee2006.In order to data accuracy and easy for maintenance products, we adopt and use communication protocols which adopt initiative delivery and response of independent design are used。...
