This research work is based on the 3G licenses in China, China Mobile from supporting the government "a strong information governance" and its own full-service operation needs, the WLAN network building is upgraded to the height of a Enterprise strategy. WLAN network with GPRS/EDGE and TD-SCDMA networks complement each other and together form the future data service bearer network of China's Mobile. Therefore, WLAN network building for China Mobile has a special significance.As domestic "wireless city" construction mode led by the carriers has great impact of policies by the state, resulting in the network construction strategies quite different, therefore, does not have the construction experience of foreign reference value.The current WLAN network planning guidelines do not mature, this project is a part of the "China Mobile Guangdong's wireless city WLAN network planning point of order (Trial Version)",which commissioned by Guangdong Mobile. The research provide the basis and templates for rapid construction, aimed to the "wireless city" infrastructure networks.The study of this project including:1. A study comparing existing wireless access technologies, to seek suitable technologies for China Mobile "wireless city" construction.2. Through the status of China's Mobile network analysis, obtained by rapid deployment of ubiquitous wireless access network strategy.3. To study the WLAN network planning process, planning principles, planning ideas and designing methods.4. Through a typical WLAN scenario classification and definitions, refer to Dongguan Mobile GSM and TD-SCDMA network construction experience of indoor coverage, come to sum up a set of suitable operators to rapidly deploy WLAN network template.5. To introduce the research results in practical engineering construction applications through the "wireless campus" case of DGUT.
