Design And Implementation Of Teaching Evaluation System

Beijing Information Technology College has built up its teaching evaluation system in 2006. However, due to the wider range of personnel, the large amount of data, the workload of teaching quality evaluation becomes very large. Only by artificial approach timeliness and accuracy of data processing can not be achieved, and it is not conducive to make teaching quality evaluation work smoothly.College has achieved the network office and information sharing within three campuses. Therefore, the college can make full use of the existing campus network and computer technology to build the teaching evaluation system network which can make the evaluation network, regular and standardized. And using the outstanding advantages of computer data management and analysis, the analysis process of teaching evaluation data can be completed by computer.This thesis proposes the issue that "Design and implementation of teaching evaluation system" and then make deep analysis of the Teaching Evaluation System in Beijing Information Technology College. It also makes the data collection in teaching evaluation system a reality, confirmed the measurement standard for evaluating the data validity. The system design includes its functions, architecture and development model. The system is developed by the MVC framework, using Struts2.0 + Spring2.0+ Hibernate3.1 framework. The evaluation system practices the implementation process of object-relational mapping in this system.The Researcher uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to model the system, and develops the system class diagrams, case application diagram, sequence diagram and activity diagram. The thesis also makes a comparison between such modeling and rapid prototyping method, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of both, puts forward a new vision of the system modeling process.During the system development process, the researcher makes full use of tools by adopting UML modeling, building conceptual model and physical model, practicing the object-relational mapping and reverse engineering. At the same time, the thesis explores the advantages of adopting auxiliary tools in software development and enhancement for developing efficiency.Finally, the researcher completes system modeling, documentation, coding, testing work, successfully develop the teaching evaluation system and ensures its normal operation. The teaching evaluation system can satisfy the requirements of teaching assessment, and accomplish the teaching quality assessment task in college.
