The technology of Internet and wireless communications has become one of the most active domains in the world from the end of 20th century to the beginning of 21st century. Amalgamation of the technique of telecom networkt and computer network which is represented by IP technique has promoted information correspondence network to the next generation mobile Internet keep evolving. The need of people of information and mobility has moved up sharply too. More and more people want to get the Internet access without any necessary setting or change on their computers, which could deliver them the needed information and high-qualified services all the time. Fortunately, Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) is actually able to provide mobile network users this kind of mobile services. In IPv6, support of mobility is basal and immanent module of IPv6 protocol stack. It allowed mobile host kept a communication link without changing IP address. However, mobility manage scheme of Mobile IPv6 has some defects, mostly expression in handover capability is not high, signalling spending is too high, handover delay is too long, quality of service during handover is difficult to guarantee and exist security problem too. Aim at these problems, Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) proposed the Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 (HMIPv6).Hierarchical Mobile IPv6 is an improved technology based on Mobile IPv6. It is proposed in order to solve the handover problem during Macro/Micro mobility management. The MAP choice is very important in HMIPv6. Aim at that, choose inconsequential MAP, it will increase service time-lag of the Mobility Node and make the load of MAP too convergent and so on, this paper proposes a LT-TMAP fast handover scheme on improved HMIPv6, using superior MAP licensed to lower lever ARs to be temporary MAPs which carry out diversity management for MNs, and describes the carry out process in theory. At the end of this article, set up network topology by simulation NS-2 and performed simulation testing based on the IPv6 testbed of our school which constructed by the network lab I worked. The emulational results show that this scheme could use MAP resources of the network more effectively. It improves the handover efficiency and possesses better Real-time.
