The thesis focuses on RFID technology applied in logistics since the traditional bar code has not been fit for the development in logistics. For the modernization of logistics, the thesis proposes that UHF RFID should replace bar code in modern logistics. Compared with previous research, this thesis for the first time studies the read rate of RFID, error control and improvement of reliability and it also presents solutions to modern logistics based on RFID. The main contents of thesis include the following:First, the thesis researches the application and development of RFID both at home and abroad and then the analysis is made concerning logistical industry's mode, characteristics, development and status quo as well as the restricting factors in our nation's logistic industry. The analysis comes at the conclusion that the traditional bar code has been unable to meet the modern needs of the logistic supply chain and therefore, the application of UHF RFID in logistic industry for the replacement of code bar which can complete object labeling and data collecting can greatly improve the efficiency of logistic supply chain.Second, RFID is a comprehensive technology, the function of which can be influenced by quite a lot factors. Before its successfully practical use in logistic field, it requires much observation and experiments. The key point of the thesis was the relevant solutions, based on the key RFID technology, to the problems that block the successful application of RFID in logistic field. Therefore, there are three main techniques chosen to study for the support of the solutions proposed in the thesis.(1) Firstly, the paper has studied the RFID system load rate of RF properties and other factors. Because the RFID system is hardly to achieve 100%, The large-scale applications has received restrictions. The paper has proposed a control solutions errors. Some with the condition environmental conditions can successfully find if exist the problems of reading labels and solving several and improve the reliability of the RFID system.(2) Secondly,the application of RFID in logistics technology, information transmission security, fault tolerance and anti-jamming capability related to the work of RFID system reliability and stability. Papers selected UHF RFID systems used for encoding and CRC checksum error correction ability of simulation capability simulation, the simulation research has solved the RFID system options must be considered when encoding some of the issues, and RFID systems in the actual frame data length of the chosen CRC under check bits, when a data length less than 256 a choice of CRC-8 check; when the data length greater than 256 and less than 64kbit, optional CRC-16 checksum.(3) Finally, the paper has conducted simulation of the UHF RFID reader systems in time domain and frequency domain and system-level electronic tag Simulation results revealed the RFID system can be used to characterize the key parameters of the characteristics of the system. It can provide reference for the RFID technology implementation of frequency and noise control.Third,on the base of needs analysis and feasibility study, the paper has used advanced information logistics supply chain management concept for a try and proposed a UHF RFID technology based on application of modern logistics solutions.The paper has designed solutions to the equipment selection, environment configuration, anti-collision algorithm requirements, security, error control and information transmission.
