The profit of dairy cow breeding enterprise closely related with annual milk production, and the annual milk production depends on the length of lactation. So,it is important to make dairy cow pregnant in a timely. For dairy cow pregnancy in a timely, we must find dairy cow's estrus Accurately. In china, most dairy farms still use the traditional method to detect cow oestrus, which depends on man's observation or the breeder's experience.This way not only waste time and energy, high labor intensity, low productivity for large dairy farms, but also exetremely easy to miss the cow's estrus for lose detection or wrong judgement. All of the above may lead to miss the best breeding time, unfavorable to improve the rate of reproduction and milk production. It is obvious that the decting method can directly cause the loss of economy.To promote the technology of cow breeding and advance the economic benefit, this paper presents that build a system for processing the signs and parameters of dairy cow on the basic of reading a great lot of literature and reference the successful experience of large and mediun-sized farms.The main content of this paper include:(1)According to the real situation of dairy farm, the signs and parameters affecting cow oestrus were analyzed.(2)System realize the connection ,modify and search of SQL Server 2000 from using ADO database access technology in the VC++.NET. ADO database access thchnology have the characteristic of easy to use, superior performance and support a variety of inquiries and so on.(3)Mathematic models were set up with the aid of fuzzy logic theory and the models could be used as a theoretic for the system. The parameters of activity and milk production that related with cow oestrus were used to set up mathematic models. Set up mathematic models was carry through the process of fuzzy ,fuzzy reasoning and inverse fuzzy process to the two parameters of above.(4)System realized that receive cow's activity data from the serial port use MSComm serial communication control of VC++.NET. Use the TeeChart of activeX control to draw the chart of cow activity and cow oestrus.(5)A system for processing the signs and parameters of dairy cow was developed by use of VC++.NET, SQL Server 2000 and C++ Object-Oriented professional programming language.(6)The system for processing the signs and parameters of dairy cow based on VC++.NET and SQL Server 2000 was able to manage cow information (add, delete ,update and serch of cow information), the system running well, stable performance.
