The traditional Chinese medicine is one quintessence of Chinese culture, and it is also a piece of gem in traditional culture. In traditional Chinese medicine there are the Yin and Yang theory, the differentiation of symptoms and signs, the four examines of watching, auscultation and olfaction, asking and feeling pulse, the pulse 28 phenomena, the meridian theories, and so on. They are the diagnosis experience and developing in clinical in medical tests by several generations of medicine, and the traditional Chinese medicine has its own distinctive theory system and practical research value.Professor L.A.Zadeh established the theory of fuzzy mathematics which has obtained the widespread application in the digitization research of the Chinese medicine. Because the basic question in Chinese medicine has dynamically fuzziness, the classic fuzzy theory only can solve the static problem in traditional Chinese medicine. Professor Li Fanzhang of Suzhou University proposed the theory of DFL (dynamic fuzzy logic), which has provided the new rationale for processing dynamic fuzziness question in the digitization of the Chinese medicine.This paper proposed a DFL-based model of the differentiation of symptoms and signs in traditional Chinese medicine, which is confirmed through case analysis, and presented the design of the confirmation system that is a model of the differentiation of symptoms and signs based on DFL in Traditional Chinese Medicine.The main research and the characteristic include:i.By the analysis of "gas- Yin and Yang- five elements", the eight principal syndromes and the differentiation of syndromes, it is presented the reasons why use the dynamic fuzzy logic (DFL) theory to solve the dynamic problem in traditional Chinese medicine. Then the DFL-based model of the differentiation of symptoms and signs in traditional Chinese medicine is brought forward.ii.According to the characteristics of the traditional Chinese medicine, the knowledge based on the traditional Chinese medicine is expressed as the relation matrixes of the DF (dynamic fuzzy), and the definite diagnosis knowledge of the experts of the traditional Chinese medicine is made as the production rules, then the knowledge expressions have realized the knowledge of the traditional Chinese medicine experts.iii.The reasoning algorithm has designed of DFL-based model of the differentiation of symptoms and signs in traditional Chinese medicine. iv.The DFL-based mode of the differentiation of symptoms and signs in traditional Chinese medicine is verified. It is feasible and correct by the eight principal syndromes, differentiation of syndromes and the diagnosis of two examples of the child toxic dysentery.v.The following technology have been introduced: the model verifies software system structure which realizes principle and key of the differentiation of symptoms and signs in traditional Chinese medicine based on DFL. The verification system have been realized by using Visual C + +.The study in this thesis shows the beneficial exploration to the dynamic fuzzy logic (DFL) in traditional Chinese medicine, so it has the positive effect on the digitized research of the Chinese medicine. From now on, it makes the further expansion and consummation for the function of this system, and will become a practical expert system of the differentiation of symptoms and signs in traditional Chinese medicine.
