In this paper, we further modified the structure of pyridine thiazole fluorescent molecules and designed pyridine oxido thiazole fluorescents 5-methoxy-2-(4-N-oxidopyridyl)thiazole(O-4MPT);5-methoxy-2-(3-N-oxidopyridyl) thiazole(O-3MPT);5-methoxy-2-(3-N-oxidopyridyl)thiazole(O-2MPT) molecules. We got a series of pH fluorescent sensors which could measure the pH value based on the ratiometric method in aqueous solution. The fluorescences can show blue and purple fluorescent light. The studies of the optical properties of the fluorescent molecules indicated they have well fluorecent emission action. They keep the protonation balance of acidic and basic states in the acidity solution. In the UV and FL spectums, we could clearly observe the bathochromic shift by decreasing the pH value.O-4MPT,O-3MPT could measure pH values in the range 4-4.5 by a ratiometric method. O-2MPT could measure pH values in the range 2-3 by a ratiometric method. They are more sensitivity, and can be used as ratiometric method pH sensor.Meanwhile, we further researched the fluorescences as metal sensors possibility. Because metal ion mainly applied biological and environmental analysis and other areas, so we chose some of more important cations in biological area and some heavy metal ion, and chose to be close to biological systems pH as buffer solution. In FL spectum, only Fe3+made O-4MPT,Cl-2MPT fluorescent quenching, but Cu2+can also made O-3MPT fluorescent quenching in some way. They can also be used as Fe3+ sensors.
