Along with the rapid development of computer technology and electronic technology, distributed computer control system in the field of transport has been more widely used. Locomotive communications network is the computer distributed control system application in the field of rail transport as a typical example, it can provide a high-speed on-board equipment, reliable information exchange platform.CCU (Central Control Unit) is one of the most important equipment in locomotive communication network; it plays a role of total scheduling in the train CCU is mainly responsible for the Monitoring and Management of communication between WTB(Wire Train Bus) and MVB(Multi-function Vehicle Bus),the acquisition and records of the State data or fault records, traction/braking control as well as some accessibility features(Under voltage protection, main transformer oil temperature protection with automatic over-control and calculate the wheel diameter compensation). Output plug-in modules and MVB_CAN conversion module play an important part in the central control unit; the functions of output Plug primarily receive the display data from the external equipment through the internal CAN bus of the central control unit. Cycle-driven the display devices, and status indicators, manage the software and hardware of Output plug-in modules. While the function of MVB CAN conversion module is to achieve the Frame format conversion between MVB bus data and CAN bus data.It divides the software system of the CCU at level and module through the theory and method of the delaminate and modularize, gives the hole design strategy of the CCU system. It selects embedded real-time operation system uc/os-II and Fujitsu macro processor MB90543 base on consider of system capability and function. It interprets the method and process of the software implement about CCU particularly, includes data structure, function interface, module design and so on.
