The Study On The Construction Of Wiki-Based Wenzhou Encyclopedia

Wenzhoupedia is a nonprofit website, which has a reflection to cultural, history and socio-economic development of Wenzhou, It plays an important role on Wenzhou's cultural development and social services.This paper briefly reviews the development of various encyclopedia based on web technology. It explores the constructive way of corpus, which is a core part of Wenzhoupedia,and introduces a realistic corpus acquisition programs, including manual and Web capture modes.Focus on the problem of classification, it investigates some classification system, through a simple analysis and comparison, a reasonable and practical classification system is proposed to WenzhouPedia. On the basis of classification system, it made preliminary exploration to item auxiliary classification of WenzhouPedia, using the text classification to implement part of the corpus, including Bayesian and decision-making trees, and analyzing the results. It provides an effective way to support the management of WenzhouPedia. Finally, the future work of the Wenzhoupedia project is discussed.
