In order to solve the difficult problem of greenhouse cooling control which is caused by hot and humid weather in the southeast coastal areas, this subject develop a control system based on STC89C54RD+ MCU to suit the areas. The system uses the temperature & humidity sensor and illumination sensor to monitor the greenhouse environment in real-time, realize the aim of semi-automatic or automatic control of the devices in greenhouse. It also adjusts the climatic factors like temperature, humidity and illumination in the greenhouse, so the system can provide the crop with a suitable growing environment.The system uses environmental factors as control parameters to control the greenhouse cooling dehumidification equipments, such as: the on/off status of the fan, the expansion and folding of the shading networks, etc. The system is mainly made up of the following parts: PC, RS485 industrial bus network and the host controller, including temperature & humidity and illumination acquisition module, human-computer interaction interface, drive circuit unit and other peripheral circuits. The design idea of the software system applies a variety of models which can operate independently of each other switch. Meanwhile, the multi-tasking programming ideas is also applied to improve the efficiency of the program. The system uses the method of collecting data by master-slave multi-machine communication to achieve remote monitoring, so it can offer the customer a convenient control platform.This design is a typical application of 51 MCU and computer communications in automation of modern agriculture. It proves that this system base on the control scheme in the thesis can run normally and reliably.
