Power transformer and distribution design is an important part of building electrical engineering design; it is often designed with the use of some assistant drawing tools like AutoCAD. However, the design of Building Power transformer and distribution is still only resting on the primary stage-pure cartographic or calculational, and can not acheieve the intelligent design that integrates the drawing, calculating, analysis, and information management.By analyzing the development status of intelligent design and CAD technology and the features of building power transformer and distribution design, I propose a thought and solution to achieve the intelligent design of bulding power transformer and distribution through the foundation of graphics platform, information model and expert system. The system based on AutoCAD object model constructs the graphics platform by the use of object-oriented technology, Graphics technology and ActiveX technology, and designs a power elements library that expresses characteristics of electrical equipment through the encapsulation of electrical primitives and at the meanwhile, solves dynamic dependence of the physical object and the background pixel data.Aim to the feature of numerous design contents, complex structure and large data volume of the building power transformer and distribution, the paper implements the construction of power transformer and distribution engineering model with parameters by using information modeling technology, through the bind of electrical elements and engineering information parameters, database construction and data-forms design. This model provides a complete expressive way which can be used to calculate, analysis and information management for building power transformer and distribution design and solves the problem of information loss, drawings and information separation and other issues. In this paper,Ⅰ.propose the idea and the program that use expert system's rules and case-based reasoning to achieve intelligent drawing and calculation. Through the introduction of artificial intelligence technology, knowledge representation of building power transformer and distribution design standards and experience, and the design of knowledge base, inference engine and rule forms, I build expert system of building power transformer and distribution design. And I also achieve intelligent drawing, analysis and calculation through the analysis of the content, principles of building power transformer and distribution and the design of each calculation module, then, a certain extent intelligent design is implemented.With general graphics software AutoCAD as the platform, using VBA and LISP interactive programming, combined with database technology, object-oriented technology, information modeling technology and artificial intelligence technology I construct a intelligent building power transformer and distribution design platform that integrates drawing, calculation, analysis, and information management. This study can reduce the workload, improve design efficiency and quality of building power transformer and distribution design, promotes the building power transformer and distribution technology to the direction of intelligent and standardization.
