Wireless MIMO(multiple-input multiple-output) systems promise a significant increase of channel capacity, while orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) is attracting a good deal of attention due to its robustness to multi-path fading and high spectral efficiency. Thus, the combination of both techniques is an attractive proposition for modern radio transmission. In this paper, transform domain zero-padding interpolation algorithm based on discrete cosine transform (DCT) is introduced to channel estimation of the MIMO-OFDM system, as to the windowed DCT-based interpolation algorithm. Computer simulation results are finally provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed channel estimation method. The paper also studied the MIMO channel models, made the simulation of the MIMO channel capacity and the simulation analysis of subspace-based blind channel estimation algorithm performance. |
