As an important technology of modern information collection, Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) has been hot spots of research and application from its birth. Be bound by the resource of sensor node, the application of WSN in industrial monitoring field has been greatly restricted. In view of the requirements of real-time and reliability in industrial monitoring, this paper introduced event-driven to WSN, proposed self-adaptive fire fly time synchronization algorithm through added self-adaptive mechanism to fire fly time synchronization algorithm, designed the re-transmission control protocol which based on the minimum number of hops and the maximum reliability as the guarantee of the real-time and QoS, and given the solution of data transmission bottleneck. Finally, by integrated all protocols and algorithms into the WSN protocol stack and added cross-layer management module to protocol stack, proposed event-driven WSN protocol stack which meets the performance requirements of the WSN in the industrial monitoring fields.
